This database is part of the MixTox TRI project and provides chemically-oriented information on regulatory classifications and on experimental mixture toxicity studies.
The database includes a unique dataset of experimental mixture studies, manually curated from the literature (PubMed) and indexed by chemical (mapped to the IUPAC Standard InChI). Users can browse studies, with links to full article texts when possible, and dentify which studies have included which chemicals, and vice versa.
Data in the database can be exported for further analysis (in tab-separated text format), and users can link into this database using a consistent interface (see documentation).
Next release: The database includes tools to help with preparing a mixture risk assesment (MRA), including scoping, and collection of hazard and classification data. When possible data has been incorporated into the database and can be accessed directly here, otherwise links are provided to assist the user in data collection/compilation.
Next release: In addition, any MRA requires an exposure scenario, and the database contains a compendium of data sources for exposure information, which may assist in preparing a relevant exposure scenario, depending on the exact needs of the user.
Further information on MRA can be found on the MixTox TRI project website.
